Nice one. Let us get some documentation prepared.

Dear Tiwale,

We (Vichu and me) added the topics on an experimental basis. Why don't you take a look at some polymer texts and let us know if it is a good topic or not? If you find that there are no good animations that can be made about structure of polymers, we can drop it. On the other hand, while going through the books if you find something on this or some other topic in polymers, you can go ahead and prepare the documentation.

The effect of clausius clapeyron eqn on the T vs P graphs. Relative areas of phases etc.

The topic structure of polymers is not clear to me, as in what is it that is expected to illustrate in it. Can some one please elaborate on this topic!

Dear Sameer,

A bit more specific than that, probably we can start the outline and documentation for an animation?

Dear Maghna,

That indeed was a nice one. Of the projects that we have listed above, the blast furnace process simulation and centrifugal casting ones might be amenable for such a treatment. May be you can choose one of them and start preparing the outline for the animation?

Dear Shivasis,

If you can get somebody from Mech. Engg (or your Machine Design course instructor) to help you, you can start the documentation for one such project.

Dear Shivasis,

Do you have in mind any other animation along similar lines? If so, why not start making the documentation and upload it ehre?

The invar game in the above animation seems great for people who are not from our dept. Very user friendly, do check it out

Through this blog, I came across this animation, which looks like a nice idea too!

An interesting idea by gururajanmpgururajanmp, 30 Sep 2009 09:36

Some thing on how gears work, clutch action etc. The advanced form of the stuff which we'de done in our Machine design course last semester

Another Option by ShivashisShivashis, 22 Sep 2009 15:49

Here is the animation that i was talking about the other day.. it's looks trivial, but is quite self explanatory.. there exist several other animations on MOSFETs but i liked this one the most..
